Our History

|
Valiantdale Kennels has been in existence since the mid 1960's.
Frauline Lisa v. Sampson U.D, a black and silver bitch from the old Longworth bloodlines, provided me with my first U.D. title in 1965.
Lisa was sired by a working police dog on the Tulsa Police Dept K-9 Corps and was bred to a German male from the BuseckerSchloss and Lierberg lines. Several of her daughters were then bred to a male who was heavily linebred on the great old Cosalta dogs.
|
VALIANTDALES ONYX VOM IRWIN, UD possessed many of the wonderful qualities that this gene pool had to offer, and he became the pillar of my breeding program in the mid 1970's thru the mid 80's.

One of the most outstanding dog I ever produced was VALIANTDALES ICON VOM IRWIN, UDT, SCH III, an Onyx grandson with lines to GV Ch Yoncalla's Mike, and Ch Caralon's Hein. He was my most influential producer from the mid 1980's thru the mid 1990's. Reproducing himself in both appearance and trainability.

The solid black factor strengthen through crossing to offspring of East German Sieger, Bodo v Graffental this produced Icon's last born son, an outstanding solid black, VALIANTDALES BOSS VOM ICON, CDX,TD,SCH III,FH.
